If you are caught by the gorillas, you must remember one thing.
What's that?
Never to speak!
What the hell would I have to say to a gorilla?
You're talking about Alphadawg's tutorial, right?
Regardless, this sounds like a request for help with ZQuest; topic moved to appropriate forum.

nothing on layers in there yet, but this might help you a bit:
layer 0 - I have no idea, seems to be the same as layer 1
layer 1 - ground layer, everything goes over this one
layer 2 - goes over layer 1, but under any sprites or other layers
layer 3 - goes over link and I think all the items you can pick up, not enemies though
layer 4 - goes over layer 3
layer 5 - goes over layer 4 and over the enemies
layer 6 - goes over everything
There is an option in the Tools menu about layers. That you can set what layers you want on the screen. Every screen has his own set of layers. 1 layer is 1 screen so if you want to have a screen with 6 layers you have to use 6 screens. When you press pagedown a few times you see a list off all the layers. This is handy when you go to the screen with the ground layer, go to that menu and de-tick any layers you don't want to view, and the radio button is to select what layer you are drawing on so you don't have to move between screens all the time.
That help any?
