    Side-view Platforming

Here is a little video I made to demonstrate how ZC is capable of side-view scrolling platforming.
It is a little buggy but functions at the 60/60 fps and plenty of room to add more functions. In fact, I didn't even delete any of the functions that I put into my last demo, and just wrote the sideview scrolling into it, so technically it could still do all the other functions of the Mirror of the Moon demo and then some.
I wouldn't expect a full-fledged quest from me any time soon, but I'll probably publish the results to AGN at some point by the end of this year for those of you that still might be having trouble with ZC's capabilities in the recent 2.5 builds that are awaiting a release of ZC3 for scrolling functionality.

Well of course it's possible, it just requires you to re-script the engine from scratch.

There's quests out there that are way better than your demonstration. This for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8qIrrw3PVk

No idea who you are, but your last demo was hilarious. Also, in case you didn't know, PureZC.net is a more active ZC site.

    (emphasis, mine)

A 3.0 release has absolutely nothing to do with scrolling. If we move over to Allegro Legacy (ag4+5), we'd be at ZC 3.0.

Update: The Mega Man game I've been working on off and on since Fall time is pretty much done with all major glitches worked out, i.e., the enemies don't shift around when pressing against walls or anything like that.
All that is left to do is some graphical level designs and NPC behaviors, and possibly weapons/abilities that Mega Man can get.
He even does wall-slides and wall-kicks like Mega Man X.

I'm not certain if I will publish a demo soon though, as this time I would like to actually make a full game first before publishing it.

Here's a glimpse at what I have so far. The Bomb Man stage is tentative and probably won't make the final cut. (The Mega Man graphic himself is a modern one and not the original anyway, and I'm not going for an exact replica of MM 1 anyway.)

Mega Man RPG is on it's way. (I know Legends already exists, but this is going to be more like the newer Castlevania games, sideview platforming but still an RPG)
