    AGN Book Club?

Not should how many of us are advid readers, but I am.
I read several books of various genres included: Scifi, Fantasy, Cyberpunk, Steampunk, Romance, LGBT, in all formats: Novels, Novellas, Light Novels, Manga, & Short Stories.
I mean may'be we could start a subforum, social group, reddit, tumblr, goodreads? does anyone use good reads. Would be nice for us to connect with each other in a literary fashion.

As far as reading goes, I probably have more extensively scoured libaries than anyone I know. That being said, I have some fairly particular tastes.

Science fiction- Mistly time travel, alien invasion, mind control and alternate realites.
Modern Thriller- Courtroom drama, medical mystery and cases of mistaken/forgotten identity.
    Mystery- Murder, kidnapping, theft, other.
Classics- Period pieces, swashbuckling adventure, dramatic tales.

My library currently extends to some 870 novels plus a smattering of short story collections.

I've though about joining Goodreads, though I've never gotten around to it. It's useful for findiing
reviews or descriptions of books when other sites don't have one.

Currently reading: The Summer Queen by Joan D. Vinge

Synopsis so far- This is a sequel to The Snow Queen by the same author. The main character is Moon,
a woman raised in a society which despises technology who becomes the bearer of a charge by a galactic
computer network to help steward the return of civilization to the interstellar community.

The story centers on the rediscovery of faster-than-light travel and the implications of this on events in her life
and those of her friends and family. I'm about 150 pages in at present. There are no traditional chapters, only shifts
from one locale (and often one perspective) to another.

Once I'm done, I may poit a more extensive review.
