Gamers and GamerGate are not synonymous. Nintendo slandering GamerGate isn't the same as slandering all gamers. GamerGate is just a very small vocal group of gamers.

That's an excuse, not reality.

I mean, sure, LITERALLY that's true, but that ignores basic premises of propaganda, human psychology, and persuasion. The first word in "GamerGate" is, in fact, "Gamer". Ask any psychology expert how human beings associate things, that means ANYTHING associated with GamerGate will, in fact, be associated with gamers on the whole. To deny this is to turn a blind eye to the true dangers of the media's propaganda.

And sadly, the propaganda works, I can show PLENTY of examples of people calling, not GamerGate, but, in fact, gamers, misogynists and woman haters.

You can pay for the whole thing and that's it. Doesn't look like there are plans for having any one part (handheld/tv) seperate (which makes sense as it has for the longest time been called a console/handheld hybrid in the rumor scene) On a side note, there has been some additions to the Day 1 Launch titles. Not much really, but it now will be launching (in the USA) alongside the following purchasable titles:

Joycon bluetooth looks pretty weak which is discouraging. I was probably going to bite the bullet for higher resolution Zelda but I'll probably stick with free BoTW for Wii U for now. Hopefully a firmware update will improve it at the cost of battery life but I'll wait around a bit to find out.

As far as gamergate goes, I've read about it 15 times and I still have no idea what happened and who I should be mad at.

Its been revealed via a tweet from NoJ's CEO/President/Whatever he calls himself, that the yearly cost for online comes to (when converted into US dollars) around $20+ PER YEAR IN TOTAL. Sounds too crazy to be true.

I heard rumors that it was going to be around that price for a full year and that's pretty amazing honestly when compared to other services, mainly XBox Live. The online service and other features are something I can't wait to finally see more about.

Thank you for posting this! There are a few games I may keep my eye on. Some of it will totally depend on if the price is right.
