    Ability to Rename Custom Item Classes

    It's not a crippling problem or anything, but this would help quest builders to keep track of what Item Classes do what. It's not a huge thing, but the convenience factor would be major.

    This is something I've considered doing. The major issue, is that it would require further changes to the packfile, that is, the save format of quests.

    I wrote some very basic routines that would change the names, but implementing them in a sensible manner is a bit of a pain. It was on the [2.future] to-do list, as we wanted to allow naming, and setting up default properties, for customized item classes, eventually.

    Damn, sounds like a side effect of reverse engineering. Yeah, I can see why this would be on hold until ZC has MUCH fewer bugs then.
