OS version? I know it's a Notebook. And I downloaded ZC from the Zelda Classic website.

What are you running?
The download from zc.com is a ZIP archive. Did you uncompress it into its own folder? That;s all you do to 'install' it. Then, open the folder, run ZLaunch.exe, and go nuts.
