Why are the colors off when I open a Tileset? Importing tiles specifics?

So, I'm trying to use EZGBZ 2.5, and it's supposed to look like this when I open it, but instead it looks like this. How do I fix this? Also, if I want to import "tile sets" like this via image, what all do I need to do to make sure it imports properly? For instance, file format? Maximum dimensions? Indexed? I have tried googling for this info, but to no avail. Everything fails to mention the specific issues I'm having.

For the first issue, you can change the screen palette using F4. Keep in mind, this only works for cosmetic purposes in ZQuest to make setting it up easier. You need to set your dmap to that same palette.

(Take this next bit with a grain of salt, my knowledge may be somewhat outdated)
For file format, GIF, PNG, or BMP are the best. Technically you can import from NES and SNES roms as well, though that depends on how the graphics are compressed in the ROM. There are no maximum dimensions that I'm aware of. You will have to do some degree of manual recoloring if you import images that don't already use the same palette as you're using. That's just the nature of the beast. There is a Recolor function in the tile grabber to make it easier, but it's not perfect.

Download Lands of Serenity today! You will be knocked comatose by its sheer awesomeness.
The Titan's Quest, best played in the bathroom as the excitement can be somewhat...overwhelming.

It was a tool used for ripping graphics from ROMs, and it was included with older versions of ZC. But that useless tool barely even worked. Here's a thread about it:

Before 2.50.2 was released, I suggested removing it from the package. It usually either crashes, or generally refuses to run, on Win7 and higher. Too bad, as an integrated tile ripper would be ideal.

    Is ZQuest open source?

Yet? Does that mean it is planned to be open source eventually? Or has ZC been kept closed source to help defend against a C&D?
