    The Movie Game

This is a game I used to play on another forum. The way it works is this: One person posts the title of a movie and the name of an actor/actress that appeared in the movie (does not have to be the lead, supporting cast or even minor role in fine). Then the next person posts another movie that person appeared in, then name another cast member for that same movie. For example:

Post 1: In Hancock, Will Smith

Post 2: Will Smith in Independence Day. In Independence Day, Jeff Goldblum.

Post 3: Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park. In Jurassic Park, Sam Niell.

And so on. And of course it goes without saying that it's no fair posting an actor or actress that has never appeared in any other movies (not that there are very many of those).

And try to keep this in movies, TV shows do NOT count.

    I will start with:
In The Princess Bride, Cary Elwes.

    Jurassic Park - Sam Neill

And so on. The actor/actress does not have to be the lead--supporting cast or even minor role is fine. Oh, and sequels are allowed, too.

    I will start with:

The Princess Bride - Cary Elwes

What happened to the initial post I made for this thread?

Here is how the game works: One person posts the name of a movie and the name of someone who appeared in the movie. The next person posts the title of another movie that person appeared in and the name of someone else who appeared in that movie. For example:

Post 1: Hancock with Will Smith
Post 2: Will Smith in Independence Day. From Independence Day, Bill Pullman.
Post 3: Bill Pullman in Spaceballs. From Spaceballs, Rick Moranis.

And so on. I will start with:

The Princess Bride with Cary Elwes.

I think the board is auto-moderating your posts because you haven't hit five posts yet. Post some things in General discussion or the ZC boards to get the count past that new user limit (Forum games posts don't add to the post count). It's weird, though, I approved the post before and it re-moderated... maybe because you edited it?

I want to leave the older posts in the thread until we've resolved this issue.

    And as for the game...

Cary Elwes in Robin Hood, Men In Tights with Patrick Stewart

The artist formally known as macweirdo42, formally known as weirdguy (it's a long, uninteresting story).
