Anyone still play these? I just picked up the Sam & Max collection on sale over at GOG. Usually they're not really my cup of tea... I hate when puzzles involve basically trying to "use" everything with everything else and there's no real clue about what you're supposed to do. However, I do like the Sam & Max games by Telltale - I grew up watching the cartoon and the humor alone makes it totally worth it, a nice way to be entertained even when you're hitting your head against a brick wall trying to figure out what to do. Though I will say, with the Sam & Max games, a lot of times there is a twisted kind of logic to solving the puzzles. Of course, aside from a few notable outliers, it seems like the genre on the whole is pretty much dead. Being that they used to be a staple of PC gaming, I think that's kind of a shame. Oh, I also thoroughly enjoyed the Homestar Runner games also by Telltale. What are other people's thoughts on the genre, favorite games, etc.?
