    Mario is dead

    British actor Bob Hoskins, famous for such flims as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Mermaids, Hook, and Super Mario Bros, has died today at the age of 71, from complications of pneumonia.

    Hoskins was a talented and legendary actor, and as gamers touched our hearts when he accepted the role of Mario in 1993. He will join Dennis Hopper as one of the film's deceased actors. He will be missed.

    Heard it this morning myself. That's sad to hear really. Loved the movies he starred in.

    This makes the second death of Mario (Lou Albano previously, which leaves Harris Shore from the original Donkey Kong 1981 commercial if he is still alive)
