    [5th Quest Entry] dcsyxx

I finished an entry for the fifth quest contest.

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/c4...hxu5/5thdc.qst

Hopefully this has somewhat of a 1st/2nd quest feel to it. I added at least one type of new enemy to each dungeon. All dungeon locations are different from 1st/2nd/3rd/4th. It is also possible to do a swordless run if you're into that kind of thing (I think).

    The levels are:

    Level 1: Moon
    Level 2: Fire
    Level 3: Water
    Level 4: Tree
    Level 5: Gold
    Level 6: Earth
    Level 7: Day
    Level 8: Life
    Level 9: Death

It helps if you know Kanji, hehe.

    Level 1 notes:

    1. Entrance position has to be all the way on the bottom at the door, or else it looks terrible when you enter.
    2. You MIGHT want to differentiate the color of the Lv. 1 and Lv. 2 Stalfos, being you have the enemy editor.

Now let's see if I can find myself a White Sword.

    Edit:
    Lv. 2 (start) notes:
Found the Triforce in like six rooms, just wasted your Like Like room and 3-headed Gleeok in no time. Got SO lucky.

    Found:
    2 Heart Containers
    PLENTY of DRC's.
    NO WHITE SWORD
    NO BLUE RING SHOP

Power Bracelet was a joke to find.

Also, might want to watch your tiles. They only go dark when you're using C-Set 1.

    1. I never knew that. That's why I rarely ever used dungeon dmaps in my previous quests.
    2. You're right. There were either Stalfos 1s or 2s. I'll change the color of one of them.

The white sword is kind of difficult to find.

Level 2 is much bigger than that.

I could swear I changed all the dark rooms to the proper CSet. I'll check.

Edit: I've updated the file, same link as above

    Lv. 3: Easy
Lv. 4: Stuck. I found a "Grumble Grumble" room, and can't find the Blue Ring shop, and blown up nearly everywhere on the map. Where is that Blue Ring/cheap bait shop?

Also, stairs in the room before the west fairy, under the old Lv. 7 entrance, and the arrow are caves instead of stairs.

There are plenty of Bait shops around.

The blue ring/bait shop is on an island.

I'll fix those entrances. Thanks again.

Onto 5. Looking for some bite. Only hard part so far was Lv. 1's boss.

While "breaking into levels" has certainly been done in Zelda quests, I don't know how I feel about it being "mandatory", as you did with the Magicrobes of Level 5. This definitely needs to be discussed.

Going into a higher numbered level before beating the previous one, like getting the Ladder from Lv. 6 in the 2nd Quest early to get the HC on the sea.

Level 5: Nice. I like this one.
Level 6: Easy. Shit easy. I have defeated levels like this, Gleeok aside, as LEVEL 1 (like BigJoe's original beta and Gleeok's unfinished quest). You're not talking n00bs playing this. I'd suggest toning this up slightly, maybe a bit. Lv. 4 of the Second Quest was harder.

    Onto 7.
