For some reason, opening a locked treasure chest or boss treasure chest also causes all the normal treasure chests on the screen to be opened as well. But then, when you return to that screen, the Normal treasure chests go back to being closed again. Yet, opening a normal treasure chest does not affect the locked or boss treasure chests, which in turn do not affect each other.
