If the world were made of donuts, they would not be considered food, so I guess I would notice nothing different.

I would start hording money, which would be easy to acquire if it was worthless, on the notion that someday the economy might recover and it'd suddenly be valuable again. And even if that fails, I can still fill a swimming pool with it and go swimming in it like I'm Scrooge McDuck. Beyond that, I pick up every Y2K survival guide I can find, since basically it's the same thing.
