    PS2 Mod Chip question

First of all, I don't know if this post/thread will be allowed, so I'll fully understand if the mods delete it.

Right. Now I'm going to skip the hows and whys for once and just get straight to the problem.

Has anyone ever heard of a Pro-7 III modchip for the PS2? Because apparently that's what I've got in my new console and I can't find a single bit of information about it.

I've tried hitting the place I got it from for more info, but it took me three e-mails just to get that, and I have my doubts about getting any more info from them.

Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

If anyone's actually interested in this, they did get back to me. The Pro-7 III is a clone of the Super-7 E17. While the Super-7 can run PS1 games, the Pro-7 cannot. Not really much I can do about that, beside telling people not to buy it and to make sure that, if they do get a pre-modded console, they make sure it's got a decent chip in it.
