Trigger Secret > New Message String on another map

Is there any way to create the following situation:

You go into a house, the message string appears saying, "Help us!" and then you proceed to complete a dungeon. After completing the dungeon, you go back to that house and the person now says, "Thank You" and possibly gives you a new item.

    Thanks.

    No? Okay, I'll ask elsewhere.
