Angry [964] Key Delay is WAAAYYY too Long (Not a bug)

That new "small" key delay added to ZQ is WAAAYYY too long. It takes me like at least a minute to scroll down to page 100 in the tiles. Its insane. I personally never had the problem that was listed when there was no real delay. Now its just flat out annoying, and faster to mash the page down key like crazy. Its practically like trying to do anything at all in one of the old DOS versions on XP was...

And yes, its not really a bug, just a comment on it, which is why its posted here.

I'll mess around with it a bit.

Its much better now. Still slower than I'm used to, but its not that annoying anymore.

Indeed. :) Remember, you can also press "p" to go directly to a page that you want to go to.

Come to think about it, what do the number keys do, on the tiles page? Imagine a bookmark feature, to zoom you right to a specific tiles page of your choosing. Rad.

I second that. It seems like I spend more time scrolling in the tile pages than I do anything else.

They took the "p" thing out?

Do I smell a new feature out of this as a way to appease everyone: ..User defined key delay?

    Just a thought.

    Yes you do:
* Shortened the ZQuest key delay. I'll probably make it changable in the config file or something later on
The delay and repeat rate are now configurable. :)

Re: [964] Key Delay is WAAAYYY too Long (Not a bug)

Working great. I now have it set with an initial delay of about half as long as it originally was, then an insanely fast repeat rate. Now its faster than even the P key... :) I type fast, so it doesn't affect me that much at all when I'm doing any strings or stuff like that.
