Does anyone else ever find themselves playing this while quest building? I can't believe I can listen to such an irritating song over and over and not really mind...so why was this added in the first place?

You would think that they would let you play the songs from Zelda 1, seeing as how they're already built into ZQuest...
Long before I had any midis on my computer, I listened to that when I discovered ZC about 8 years ago. Once in a great while I'll listen to it when I mess with ZC, and I've used it in trying to get ideas for music.
If I could, I'd gladly replace the lost woods / Saria's Song MIDI with something a little less repetitive, like, for instance, this 32-minute medley. But, I'm not sure what the original arranger would feel about it, and besides, the current MIDI has become a bit of a tradition.
Umm..I can't get to the page you linked to. I got a 403: Forbidden error.

Computer specifications:

It was for the setup of Allegro, from what I was told. You'd play the song to recognize your soundcard or something along the lines.
Phantom Menace had a soft spot for that midi, as well as for Ocarina of Time in general.
Sarias Song always annoyed me. However, I really like the Lost Woods music if you remove the flute part. The Sacred Grove version from Twilight Princess is amzing too.
