They're back, in an austere but (hopefully) functional state. The algorithm for determining the number/color is slightly different but shouldn't be too difficult to figure out

People with AGN positions who don't have distinctive stars (currently people involved in ZC and SE development) should now also have extra titles, freeing up the custom title line.

So it's been noticed. :) We've been commenting on the visual progress in chat. Thanks so very much for doing this, DD! It's really nothing to point a stick at, that's for sure.


Hm. By the old methods, those with 10,000+ posts should actually have four of either or stars. Eh. *Likes to hoard pointy things* I think I do remember the old color styles, more or less.


So what was the algorithm used, anyway?


Oh, the list of stars is Here. I believe it's listed in order of use as well. Also note that there are also Circles for first years, Diamonds for second years, Stars for third years, Rupees for fourth years, some sort of skull mask (No idea what they're called.) for the fifth years, and Yin Yangs for the sixth years. We've got no seventh or eighth years that I can tell. ... Eh, ignore that. That was just the excited rush of extrapolation with the "OMG ACTUAL STARS 'n shyt."

Reinstating that particular system would require a vB hack, which I don't feel quite up to yet. Maybe in the future.
