Sonic DC Battle, My BOR Mod!

First of all, this is a mod of a game engine. So therefore, it can be considered a hack, since I didn't create the original program. The Engine is known as "Beats of Rage", a game program developed by Senile Team. Here is a link to their site.

My Mod is called "Sonic DC Battle." Here are a few screenshots:

The RAR archive consists of a CDI disc image. That being said, this game must be burnt to a CD. However, there is a reason for that. This game can actually be played on a Sega Dreamcast! The game is completely selfbootable. All it needs is to be burned.

I've included in the RAR archive the Burner program Discjuggler, which will be able to burn the CDI image. It is a old, FREE, trial version, but it works.

I do have to point out that this game has been tested on an American Dreamcast, so I don't know if it would work on a PAL (European DC)...

Oh, and one more thing... If anyone sees my screens and notices that I used some of their sprites, I've listed the credits on this post, and have credited everyone. (See Image Below)

Two points, if I may.

One: I think this may break one of our rules about emulation. I'm not sure, but since you haven't had the link removed by a moderator yet, I suspect you might be Ok. Just saying, though.

Two: I don't have a Dreamcast. Any way I can still play this? It looks pretty awesome.

This isn't emulation or piracy, it's just homebrew and there's no problem. I've heard of Beats of Rage before. Nice work on the mod, though I can't play it cause I don't have a DreamCast setup right now.

I've heard that the emulator program "Chankast" can run it (this was from someone on another board). However, I do not have a link for it. (Also it's against the rules to post emulators...) You would have to run it as a BIOS.

No, once again, you can post links to emulators so long as the same page doesn't provide illegal/copyrighted files. Chankast's website should be fine, but you do make an important point that you may not link to the DreamCast bios files. They are property of SEGA.
