[LOZ inconsistency] Top of screen in item room & passageway

    Wrong:

(Note I just edited this myself.)

Again, this is from the speeddemosarchive run. I can't tell exactly how many pixels Link is shown above the top before he is cut off, but it looks like about two or three from the video I watched. It would be nice if someone else could confirm.

Tektites go over the screen but Link doesn't? Man, this game is freaky. I'm heading down to the NES to test the Peahat thing, and I'll be sure to cover this as well.

Then how can you be sure what is right or wrong?
A couple days ago, Franpa, would have had them change link walking under doors to link walking over doors based on an emulators performance.
You guys need to be careful.

Well, I specifically mentioned that this is from a run on speeddemosarchive, which was played from a Wind Waker demo disc. But you're right, care should be taken to double check these things.

(I know you can't trust emulators.)

There's a "quest rule" for this.

heh, this might be directly related to link scrolling dungeons vertically... like i mentioned before and as such is a bug with the emulator.

    Well, it's wrong in 1st.qst.

    Which rule fixes this?

Re: [LOZ inconsistency] Top of screen in item room & passageway

"Subscreen appears above sprites," but I can't turn this rule on in 1st.qst because that would screw up the Tektites.

Has anyone confirmed that Link does, indeed, appear under the subscreen on the NES?

Trying to follow up on my posted bugs.

AmazingAmpharos, did you ever get to try this?

Does anyone particulaly care anymore? It a pretty minor thing, just an inconsistency.
