    Arrow Lost Isle RELEASED

    Without wasting anyone's time, I will get straight to the business:

    Lost Isle is finally released. The project Wolfie and I have been making during these 2 years is completed, thoroughly tested and polished, ready for the great ZC community to play. When you download Lost Isle, be sure to check out the very helpful README file, and if you don't, you should know something important:

    LOST ISLE WORKS ONLY ON THE LOST ISLE SPECIFIC ZC BETA:
    ZC 2.11 Beta (Lost Isle Build)    .
    WHEN DOWNLOADING LOST ISLE, MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE LI BUILD AS WELL.
    TO BE CERTAIN YOU GOT THE CORRECT VERSION OF ZELDA CLASSIC, GOTO "Misc -> About" AND CHECK OUT IF YOUR ZC SAYS THIS:

    Everyone probably knows by now what this quest is about. But in case you are not that familiar with Lost Isle, check out this thread for tons of Lost Isle information and speculation:

    Hot sweetness. I've been anticipating this moment for... at least 6 months, most likely more.

    I feel like a kid who's been standing around and all of a sudden he's in the middle of a candy store which just came falling out of the sky.

    There have to be some words which can describe how awesome this is, but I have no idea what they are.

    Sweet, just downloaded it. I've had bad luck with epic quests, save files, and zc getting corrupted and the like in the past. But thanks to a build specifically designed (and only playable) for one quest...Problem solved! Super neat-o. I'm gonna go play it play it now. It looks awesome.

    Well, I will definitely release at least the dungeon tiles at some point. ^_^

    And yeah, this LI ZC Build is pretty darn good, but you never can be too sure so it's not a bad idea to make backup copies of your zc.sav file every now and then. One of Lost Isle testers got his sav. file corrupted, so it is not nice to lose your saves.
    There's no reason to worry though, the LI Build has been under heavy testing and this corruption only happened once.

    Wow!

    I just downloaded the LI build and the quest and I am about to try it out. This is going to be BIG!!! After the experience, I will give you the feedback. I have Windows! :)

    Too bad for Macintosh and Linux users.... it is so sad that they won't try it out.

    EDIT: Petoe, do you, by any chance, are you going to tell the developers to also make a Linux and a Macintosh LI build release? (For Linux, ask Koopa or Sean, but Koopa recommended...)

    Yeah, it kills me to think about Linux and Mac users...

    I can always ask if it would be possible to get a Mac and Linux version of the LI Build.
