    Different Size Screens

I don't know if this would even be possible, but it'd be great if one could change the size of different screens instead of being stuck with the odd (yet original) rectangle shape that we all know and love today. The reason for this request is that I'm working on a dungeon that requires exact symmetry. I need my dungeon to be square to pull off what I had in mind. Thanks for your time and all the work you guys put into this :).

    Re: Different Size Screens

I am under the impression that that's a complicated change to the ZC engine (it's basically a reverse form of z3 scrolling), but you should be able to fake this with warps (I'm not sure on the absolute best approach; it will involve "scrolling warps" if you want a smooth effect). You'll have dead space on both sides of the screen, but there's nothing you can do about that and, logically, said change to the ZC engine wouldn't change that. Remember that the builds have 4 warps, and in any given dungeon room, odds are you're using 0-1 of them. Take advantage of the situation!

    Re: Different Size Screens

This feature has been discussed very, very many times, and each time, no matter at what stage of ZC's development, has been a no.

This is just one of those things we shouldn't be asking for.
