While earning my AA degree I went through several different "phases" of majors. For the longest time I was set on a degree in International Economics, but finally after quite a bit of introspection, and working in a professional enviroment, I settled on Architecture and transferred to one of the best programs in the state (University of Florida). My goal is to one day be my own boss, not work the rest of my life for somebody else. You have to decide what YOU want out of life and figure out what your skills and strengths are, then choose a major that suits the career and lifestyle you want.

That's something I fear, though -- changing majors. I don't want to virtually waste an n number of years of college (and tuition), which is why I'm hoping to pick the right major/career first. At least the directions have been clear from everyone I've asked, that I should pick a major that involves my skills, strengths, and interests.

Why? Because that's when my internship is starting...and I'm not sure if the boss would be happy to find me surfing the net on HIS mac.

Yeah, my school doesn't get very in-depth by means of courses. (Well, okay, it's Pre-calc and Chemistry. But y'know, no Organic Chemistry.)

And the reason that hobo is the bull's-eye is so it'll encourage you to aim for one of the crappier "careers" instead. :)
