So I have to write a 4-page Modest Proposal, due Thursday. I really don't feel like it.

Some people got good topics, like illegal immigration or obesity, but I had to get junkyards. How am I supposed to write a satire on trash? Ehhh.

I have to write a paper the equivalent of 5 pages single spaced on Platonic Realism, due by the end of the week. I should really do that. It's an interesting topic and I like writing, but damn, I hate having to concentrate.

I have the problem that I often procrastinate, or start something and decide it's not good enough. I think the reason I put off working on writing (or ZC, etc.) is because I don't think people will think it's good.

Don't let that hold you down. All that matters is that YOU think it's good. there is always bound to be at least one person who doesn't like your work, so you shouldn't really care about that. Just do your best, and you'll find that there are definetely peole who will enjoy your work.



bwaaaah...woke up late this morning, and there was no quick and easy to make breakfast materials, so I went to school on an empty stomch. Surviving the morning on just a piece of bubblegum isn't fun.

So now I'm back at home, and one bowl of chicken soup late,r I feel better. And I'm working my way through a bowl of hot noodles as I type.

now the dillema is that I face is thta I'm REALLY not in the right mindset to work, but I need to start getting shit done or I'm really gonna be in trouble.

Sort of. In my writing class a few years ago, the teacher would give everyone short fiction stories to re-write. I would always just keep the basic idea, and go way off on my own story with it. For instance, she gave us the Fix and the Crow to re-write. I wrote an epic five page novel that was not quite unlike Lord of the Rings, yet I stuck with the same basic plot element. I was the envy of the class, along with someone else who got the teacher's praise for using humoungsly big words.
