What real scripting language would you say that ZScript is most similar to?

What real scripting language would you say that ZScript is most similar to?

I'm about to learn C++ for my own reasons, but would I in effect be able to learn C++ at the same time and understand both?

Zscript is similar to C/++ code.

I think ZScript is, as DarkDragon had once said, a "Pet" language of C or C++. IMHO, learning either first would be a great preparation for the other. You can learn either and the other will quietly tag along with it if you work on the other simultaneously.

What they said. ZScript is almost a subset of C. There are some differences, but they're pretty simple.
