I am very stuck in DemoEX. I am actually very far, but I can't seem to get further in the metroid-style dungeon (I think it is level 4). I am at a point where there are a bunch of blocks across black chasms in different rooms, and each block needs to be hit with a different ranged projectile. I can get past the one that takes the fire boomerang and the one that takes the magic rod, but how do I get past the last one?

After trying this, I found that the only thing behind the chasm was a heart container. Now I need to know how to get past the brightly colored locked door.
