    Re: Enemy Difficulty

Sometimes, with certain items, enemies become easier than they would otherwise be. For instance, with the Hammer and/or Hookshot, the Red and Blue Darknuts become easy pickings. Also with the Fire Boomerang, the various Darknuts and Wizzrobes become very easy--especially because you can damage them and freeze them at the same time.

Good point. For now, just assume standard items, okay?

    Re: Enemy Difficulty

    Gel & Keese: Minimal
Gels are faster, while Keese can fly over obstacles, but both are one-hit kills, even with the Boomerang. Might be a small problem in large groups, but generally should pose little threat unless low on life.

    Stalfos 1: Low
Slow moving and lacking projectiles make these easier than Moblins.

    Rope 1: Low/Medium
High speed charge makes this enemy an effective attacker but lacks stamina.

    Moblin: Low/Medium
Spears can travel through obstacles, but otherwise not a serious threat due to slow movement and blockable spears.

    Wall Master: Medium
Relatively low stamina, but can be a nuisance in narrow passages deep in a dungeon.

    Stalfos 2: Medium/High
Highly damaging sword beams are the reason for the increased threat level. Otherwise, fragile enough to be eliminated quickly enough.

    Rope 2: Medium
More stamina than before, but low damage makes this no higher a threat.

    Goriya: Medium/High
Boomerangs are thrown without pause and deliver more damage than spears. The increased stamina of Blues increases the threat if player is underequiped.

    Moldorm: Low/Medium
Slow moving but not quite fragile enough to be considered an easy kill. Fire can decimate it, however.

    Ghini: Medium/High
A lone Ghini is tough enough to withstand a beating; a group of spawned Ghini accompanying the original one can complicate matters.

    Peahat: Medium
Low damaging and not too fast, but the ability to avoid damage makes this enemy trickier.

    Lynel: Medium/High
Anything with a two-heart damaging attack is at least a medium threat. Otherwise, they are slow moving and vulnerable to the Boomerang.

    Zol: Low/Medium
More damaging than Gels, but extremely slow. Ability to split into Gels add some nuisance.

    Gibdo: Medium/High
Highly damaging, but like Stalfos 1, is slow, lacks projectiles, and is vulnerable to Boomerang.

    Pols Voice: Low/Medium w/arrows, High w/o
Tough, highly Damaging and invulnerable to certain attacks (Boomerang, fire), but arrows turn the tables.

Darknut: Red: Medium, Blue: High/Very High
Frontal defense provides a hinderance. Blues are faster, tougher, andmore damaging.

    Vire: Medium
Unusual movement, damage, and ability to split into Keese make this one tricky, but otherwise not too harmful.

    Like Like: Medium/High
Depending on how much you rely on the Magical Shield in a dungeon determines how threatning this enemy is. Very durable.

    Wizzrobe (red): Medium/High
Alone, Red Wizzrobe is a moderate threat, so long as you avoid/deflect the very powerful magic blasts. In grouped formations, Reds can be deadly support enemies.

    Wizzrobe (blue): High/Very High
Threat depends on available equipment, especially the Sword, Armor, and Bombs. Deceptive movement and powerful attacks make this a formidable foe, but large groups are vulnerable to Bombs.

    Lanmola: Medium to High/Very High
High speed and high damage ensure this enemy is no mere pushover. Fire can turn its speed against it.

    Dodongo: Low/Medium
    Digdogger: Medium/High
    Aquamentus: Low/Medium
    Gohma: Medium
Manhandla: Low to High, depending on equipment
Gleeok: Medium to High, depending on equipment and # of heads
    Patra (oval): High
    Patra (circle): Very High
