This thread has the most recent BETA versions of ZC. This includes both a PC and a Mac port. So yes the Mac version is still being developed.
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but as I see it, don't all the versions of ZC get developed at the same time, and then they just get compiled for different systems? I mean, it's all just Allegro, right?

From what I understand there is one main developer (Takuya) who is doing the work for the Mac version, but it has all the features that the Windows version has since he is building it along witht he other 2.11 betas. I don't know for sure who else is actually doing the programming but maybe one of them will respond.

All right. I downloaded and attempted to fire it up. The ZC icon appears in the dock for about two seconds and then the process terminates with no explanation. Does anyone know what may be causing this? Is there something additional that I need to install to get it to launch?
I'm on an iBook G4 1.2GHz with OS X v 10.4.6/~1.25 GB of RAM.
I plugged ZC into the Apps folder, and rebooted just to verify, but no dice. I appreciate any help you can offer. If there's an appropriate FAQ for the Mac port just point me to it.
If not, can anyone report a successful installation?

Right-click (or control-click) on the icon, then select Show Package Contents. If you see an allegro.log file, open it with Text Editor, then copy and paste the contents into this thread. If not, then open the Contents folder, then the MacOS folder. There should be one program inside that folder. Run it, then copy and pasted the contents from the window that opens into this thread.

I did find ZC-Mac Beta 12 by searching Google for a download link for libpng.3.dylib.
This version executes, though it freezes on the character creation/selection screen. (Sounds of item selection are still heard when I press the arrow keys, but the screen is almost completely grey, with barely readable text, and no cursor.)
I figured that is one of the problems with the b12 release, so I'll just wait until I can get b14 running.
Once I do have a working version, is there a way to enable game pad support? (Or is it automatic?)
