I like toast too, but only with a buttery spread. ^^;' ... Yeah ...
Well, each different area should be a different Dmap. I mean it'll probably occupy a different map, right? o.o' Thus, each area will have its own Dmap. You can set the Midi that that area will use via the Music tab of the Dmap editor.
Gotta import the midi first though. Do that via Quest-->Midis.

zquest version 2.11 allows that. Without using dmaps.
On a note, make sure you use side warps to go from area (DMap) to area (DMap). And for the love of ZC, make sure you set down the green warps for the starting position of each area (DMap)!!
