Of course, while you're at it, for completions' sake, why not have a "Hitbox size toggle" room to suddenly make Link thin enough to fit into those 16x8 crevices? :p

Slash can be explained: Link knows how to slash, however the learn Slash feature tells him how to do it to deal more damage. Like, martial arts training. Anyone can kick, but you need to learn how to kick to do serious damage, you know?

Then again, learning Z3 can be explained by magic. Ganon placed a curse on Hyrule making everyone walk in four directions ONLY. Chaos ensues

I get what you're saying, Bigjoe, but it makes no sense whatsoever

It makes about as much sense as a sword shooting a beam.

That can probably explained by the magic of Hyrule channeling through Link's Pure (And unharmed. ) essence, through his sword, and into .. .. .. well, wherever he so chooses to shoot it.

Where that bloody noise comes from, I'll never know.

Who cares if it makes sense? It opens up potential gameplay, so go for it.
Oh, if you want it to be possesive, it's just "i-t-s"; but if you want it to be a contraction then it's "i-t-apostrophe-s"... scallawag.

Just say that Link's agility was increased or something. :p

Videogames don't need to make sense. That's why plumbers grow when they eat mushrooms.

In LTTP Link obtains the Pegasus Boots, which increase his movement; He dosen't learn to run. There is no magic in LA aside from the powder and rod, plus Link uses said Pegasus Boots to run
