I hate to be a spoil-sport, but...

1) I can just as easily say something like "A revolution is coming!" ... ... Then Russia takes over the world and everyone has to wear their underwear on the outside so the Russian government can check to see that everyone is indeed wearing clean underwear. Huzzah.

You would have been better off just throwing it out of the blue rather than making people wait. It's mainly because everyone has been waiting for some sort of update, whether it be just a list of some bugs fixed or some new features.
