    Tools->Hot Keys Menu

There should be a tools->hot keys menu where you can not only view the current default hot key list, but change them to whatever commands you'd like. Here's a list of the functions you could view or change (in no particular order)

    1) Combo Flood
    2) Scroll Combo Page
    3) View Enemies data
    4) View Screen Data menu
    5) Select Message String
    6) Set combo to currently selected combo
    7) Change Cset
    8) Select Room Type
    9) Select Guy
    10) Flip Horizontal
    11) Flip Vertical
    12) Paste (tiles combos, screen, & map)
    13) Delete (tiles, combos, screen, & map)
    14) Copy (tiles, combos, screen, & map)
    18) Increase/Decrease combo selection
    19) Switch Data Panels
    20) Change Previewed screen Pallete
    21) View Layers menu
    22) View string editor
    23) View Enemy Flags menu
    24) Increase/Decrease current Flag marker
    25) Toggle Preview Mode
    26) Save Quest
    27) Undo
    28) Redo
    29) Quit
    30) Stop/Start Combo Cycling (during preview mode)
    31) View Walkability
    32) Hide/Show Flags
    33) View Secret Combos menu
    34) View Sprites Editor
    35) View Dmap Editor
    36) Hide/Show combo types (via digits)
    37) Stop/Start Animation (during preview mode)
    38) Reveal Secrets (during preview mode)
    39) Reset Room (during preview mode)
    40) Rotate Combo/Tile

Plus many more! There would be a bunch of tabs in this menu too, each one labeling where/when these functions are used, such as:
    --Main Screen (Screen Editor)--
    --Combos Editor--
    --Tiles Editor--
    --Preview Mode--

Some hot keys do more than one function, but when in different modes/menus. For example, R views the Room Type menu when editing a screen but when editing a combo, R rotates its tile. All functions would be organized alphabetically under each tab. So 'Rotate tile' would be in the tile editor, View Room Type would be under the Main Screen tab, Reset Room would be under the Preview Mode tab, all with a default hot key of 'R'

In this menu, you could can change the hot key for any function to any combination of up to 2 simulteanous keys (including mouse clicks) However, no combination can be set for 2 functions under the same tab. If you try doing so, you'll get a message saying "Hot Keys Already Used" or something. You could also delete (remove) a function's hot keys by selecting it & hitting delete, allowing you to use its previous hot keys for another function. Likewise, you could also hit a 'default' button and it will reset all hot keys to the default setting.

This would be useful for finding hot keys & features you never knew existed. (Like how many people don't know about preview mode using the 'X' key) It also allows you to customize what the hot keys are if you find it more convenient or more logical for you to press 2 other buttons for a function rather than using the default hot keys.

    Re: Tools->Hot Keys Menu

I think this is BADLY needed. Either that, or menu options need to start being added for the undocumented hotkeys.
