Has anyone here tried checking http://www.vgmusic.com
I'm pretty sure they're public domain, and I got some GREAT songs for my current quest from them.

    Re: music suggestions

I know of hundreds of great MIDIs on VGMusic, but one of the rules of NeoFirst is that none of the MIDIs used can be from a game other than a Zelda.

    Re: music suggestions

But most Zelda music isn't exactly amazing, and tons of Zelda music in a quest is boring and unoriginal.

    Re: music suggestions

I'm still all for using Non-Zelda Video Game midis in the quest, as well as SPC files from SNES games, as they're only about 65 KB apiece.

    Re: music suggestions

Well, for the most part we should stick with Zelda-derived and/or public domain music, just because we ought to be keeping our intellectual-property eggs in one intellectual-property basket.

Pretend that the previous metaphor makes sense.

See also the Music Tracker topic.
