    I need help finding the heart containers and finding level 8.

    I can't remember right now where the other Heart Containers are, but I can tell you that to find Level 8, In the second row from the top of the overworld, there is an arrangement of rocks in the form of an arrow pointing left (just like where you found the Magical Sword in the original First Quest). Go left one screen. There you need to cross the river with the Ladder and bomb a section of cliff.
