Tile Leech Help

Everytime I try to replace link with a different looking link (from a tile set) using the leech option it looks all messed up and everything goes haywire? What am I doing wrong?? If you need more information let me know..

This is more of a tip
If you're new then dont use Leech cause it mostly F***'s up the tiles!
