The old ZC.com used to have the regular enemies along with a picture.
Though, I made a long-ass list of all the enemies and where to palce them at PZC... if that'll work. Posting a link seems like advertising to me, so I could PM you the link, or you could drop by the ZQ Editor Help in PZC's forums and find it pinned.

I once made a list of enemies myself, which described them and for the most part, made fun of them. If anyone wants to see, I can post a link.
I definatly do remember a list of the enemies at ZeldaClassic.com, and they were all animated, and had backgrounds too. Those were fun. :O
I need to see one...can't make heads/tails (/any other sides) of 16% of the enemies. Need modern list!
