Hello,

Does it "shoot" fire at all? The blue candle can only be used once per screen - so if it shoots fire once on a screen, and then not anymore then there is nothing wrong. The red candle however can be used an unlimited number of times per screen.
The test quest is just that, a testing leftover. It isn't really playable. The candles are set up to use magic, but Link doesn't start with any.
...This probably needs to be in some FAQ somewhere... it gets asked a whole lot. And I've only been here about a week or two.
Ah... I hadn't realized that candles could be setup to use magic. If that's the case though, what differentiates the blue and red candles?
They use the same amount of magic, but the blue candle still can only shoot one flame per screen.

Ah! I have a clone!
The problem is that the blue candle requires magic, but Link is started out with zero. What you have to do is go into ZQuest, open 210test.qst and set the initial data so that Link starts out with some magic power. Once you do that, you'll be good to go.
