Well, if you want a cost-effective one, you can get DDR for the PSX. My sister and I have been looking into one, and it looks like a fairly safe bet.

Otherwise, I'd definitely look into the PS2 Version. While I don't know a lot about the whole DDR / PS2 / Dance Pad setup, I can definitely tell you that it's highly enjoyable, and great exercise, and fun for the whole family and the hamster. Do invest in some. We rarely spend money in my family, but we're getting the cheapest kind.
