Disappearing mouse cursor

I'm using the 2.10 DOS version of Zquest. Whenever I move the mouse cursor up the screen in Zquest (no matter what I'm doing in it at the time), it starts to kind of phase out about half way up the screen. Near the top, I only see it flicker for a bit, but for the most part, is invisible. Anyone know why or what I can do about it? The windows version doesn't do this, but I can't run the windows version.

It seems like something small, but I'm sure you can imagine how hindering and annoying it is. I appreciate any help.

Try using the -modex switch.
