    Star Ocean; Stuck

I'm in the Airyglyph (sp?) Aqueducts. I just defeated the huge scorpion-looking thing. How do I get past the room that I defeated the boss? Is there a way past the thin ice? I've tried going back and looking for some other way but nothing to be found... Help?

Try walking instead of running, and don't bump into any walls.

Walking is just applying less pressure to the joystick, or is there a button I hold?

Edit: Nevermind, I got it. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah that part was really frustrating. It doesn't help that the "analog" stick gives you 4 directions of movement plus maybe about 10 degrees worth of rotation. PS2 developers seem to have a lot of trouble with analog sticks, I wonder if they are idiots or if the controller isn't sensitive enough.

Nah, the analog stick can be pretty good if they want it to. They just made the analog stick behave exactly as if it was a digital pad. It really is stupid that there has to be a seperate button to walk instead of running.
