Tiny maps of the first three dungeons. The first two are completely finished save for some minor graphic tweaks (palette changing when a room darkens etc.) The third dungeon is not done. It is made up of two sections. As you can see, there is a traditional section, and a side scrolling section. The traditional section is all sketched in, but only about half of the rooms are done. The side scrolling part is also on the better side of half way done.
I also made up some palettes. The ones before were.. eye sores, quite frankly. These ones are more subtle, and less likely to cause monitor, and retinal damage.
So.. I have been doing stuff believe it or not.
EDIT:
After a good day of work, Level six is finished. I did this entire dungeon in one day, so it's safe to say it could use a bit more detail here and there, but the meat and bones of it are finished. This brings the total number of completed dungeons to 3.
Let me explain a bit about this dungeon. This is specifically designed to be this quest's "imfamous" dungeon. It is long, and hard with tough battles, and a fairly complex maze-y-warp-y layout. There are a few different ways to beat this dungeon, but you'll want to get the map and compass ASAP.
I think it is safe to name this nasty mo' fo' "Midnight Maze".
Level three is still in the works, level four is kept from the old game, but needs some serious work (It has some serious warping issues, because when it was built way back when, I put in the map screen for warps, and not the d-map screen.. anywho..), level five is yet to be built along with levels seven, eight, and nine. I have seven all planned out, so I'll probably do it tomorrow. I will eventually finish Level three (which is so far, my personal favorite). Four and five come next. Then we'll see where it goes from there.
