Old-Skool, I'm positively drooling over that tileset. It definatly looks how like Zelda 1 should be, all dark and stuff. I can't want to play that quest so badly.

Thank you, everyone for your support on my quest. It means a lot that you think the tileset is pretty cool. Trust me, The rest of the game itself ain't bad either. I redid the some of the sword sprites: Now they join Link in resembling the artwork to the original Zelda.

And Zelda_Warrior, you just gave me an idea: The day we can accurately remake Link's awakening on Zelda Classic will be a true checkpoint of just how far Zelda Classic has come.

It would be a hard, long prject, bcause some of the cutscenes would have to be edited, made simpler, or some completly removed. I was planning to do that for the last quest in the Oracle series, but that quest is about a year into the future to even be started on, I am not going to take on moe than 4 projects at once. Because of this, it is highly unlikely that you will ever see such a quest released by me.

Btw, what do people think of my beta? I know the first dungeon is WAY to short, but it's hard to make a good swordless dungeon.

I was about to post some screens here, but then i noticed something.

*b*s tree tops look allot like mine, i sat and did this outline on the trees from the minish cap, and they look almost identical, so now i have to doctor up my tree graphics before i post any pics.

I don't need him saying "hey you riped off my graphics and I'm going to make sure that you can not post your quest on any boards" not that he will, but thats something i have been getting alot.
Which is why it has taken me so long to get started on a quest.

Every time i go to start making a quest, my graphics turn out looking like something someone else has already made, and dose not want anyone else using, so then i have to start all over again.

It really ticks me off.

So I'm going to try and change them up a bit, hopefully i will not have to run into that kind of thing.

What is really bad is that i can not do anything truly unique because of the color limitations of ZC.

It sucks that you only get like 16 colors to work with per tile.

I was taking minish graphics and and changing them around for use in my quest.

Seems *b* is doing the same.

Well, at least his has to do with link, where as mine has to do with Brave Fencer Musashi.
