Phantasy Star Online Episode IV: Blue Burst

I just started playing the game last night, and it's awesome. It's basically PSO Episode I&II only with better visuals and a new quest, known as Blue Burst. Episode IV is not yet available (will be on October 31), and will most likely feature four full new levels, and over 150 new weapons and a number of new monsters.

The game can be purchased, if you want, through import, or you can download the free client from http://psobb.jp. There is a fifteen day free trial period, before you have to start paying the monthly fee of $9.99 U.S.

Also, everything is in Japanese, and the registration is so difficult, that unless you're fluent in Japanese and have the latest Windows XP/2000 IME for Japanese Katakana and Hitagana, you're going to need a tutorial. You can find them here: http://www.pso-world.com.

There are already a number of English players, but the majority are Japanese.

There are currently no plans for bringing PSO Blue Burst to North America or Europe.

It's a really great game, so check it out if you can.

PSO kinda lost my charm for me a while ago, but this still sounds awesome.

But I bet they didn't improve the targeting system at all.

Yeah, I read that it may not work once in a while. If not, just try again later.

Also, check out Ship Leo Block 3 when you get into the game. It has a number of English speaking players. I'm currently playing all over the map, mostly in Beginner, Leo and Aquarius. I use the name DoubleEdge.
