No, Slash. It's not you. It's the game. Every level up to 7 has an extra key in it. There's some reasons for that, but you'll find out soon enough. (I found the game on another website, so I've been playing it about a week longer than most people. Gotten about halfway through Level 5.) As with HD, I'm working on a walkthrough for this game. It, too is in the middle of Level 5.

There is one indeed. If you exit a level and you don't have one more key than you had when you entered ... then go back in and search. I can tell you that some of them are really hard to find

yes, if you go through the levels IN ORDER, you should have the number of keys as the level you just beat. (ex. you should have 5 keys extra if you beat level 5, 3 extra keys if you just beat level 3. etc.) But that's only if you go in order.

I'm so glad this Quest is finally released.
I downloaded it from another site a few days ago. Finished Level 1. Nice graphics.
But I did not find Level 2. I travelled a lot without the shield. It is a nightmare, died at least 30 times. Any hint or I did not read the information at the end of Level 1 properly!
Redid Level 1 and noticed which Island is next. But I'm still stucked!

look at DFW's sig. It has the map for his quest. What you are looking for is the forest island which is located in the middle left, just north of Death Island.

Odinaki, you need to go visit Link's sister after you clear Lvl 1 for a surprise. Anyway that surprise is mentioned in the IOTW document.
