    AIM problem...

    since anything goes (almost) here, and i can't think of a better place to put this, I'm posting this here...

    ok, my problem is I can't update my profile, or buddy list... I've tried clicking the Add Buddy to Buddy List icon, adding it with the Setup Buddy list menu, even contacting AOL Customer Support (Like I thought THAT'd work ) and nothing helps. in order to get around this problem, I have to set my prefrences to 'Allow Anyone to Contact Me' instead of 'Allow only Users on my Buddy List', which means I'm going to get spammed with tons of porn links. can ANYONE help? I can't IM anyone that's not on my buddy list...


    oh, the error message I get is "One or more of the additions or modifications to your Buddy List were not able to be saved."

    Do you have the latest update? I know a new one came out, but it shouldn't matter, but it's worth giving a try. You also could restart your computer.
