I heard about this a few days ago, and its great news. I love family guy, although it never really got aired much over here. Perhaps this means that Futurama could be on its way back, as it is getting similar ratings on Cartoon Network as Family Guy is, though Futurama is quite more expensive to make per episode due to the 3D animation. To boot, i cant even see the end of the 4th season on Australian TV, as it seems to be cancelled from its already hideously late 11:30PM time slot, which is now wanting me to get my hands on the Season 4 DVD set all the more, and since they were only released in Europe yesterday, its going to be a long wait. The uncancelling of Family guy shows that FOX does have a soul, and hopefully they will continue to realise the errors of their ways.

Erm, one drawback with that -- the abbreviation is 'CLITORIS'.
In related news, there is a Family Guy movie in production that is slated for straight-to-video release next year. This could explain why new episodes are not slated until the following year. We can only hope...
