How come no ones talking about Silent Hill 3?

    Ahem...

    Scariest/Creepiest/disturbingest/BEST

    GAME EVER.

I swear to you Silent Hill is one of the best game series ever. Go pick up all 3 of them.

I can not explain how deep and interesting this game is. Its just I have this wierd fixation with it, like very obbsessive. I played through the 2nd one like 6 times to get all the endings. I have spent countless hours reading plot analaysis guids (some great ones at gamefaqs) I feel compeled to recomend it to anyone and everyone I meet. So do yourself a favor and play these games!

why would u want a game that u can beat in only less than 2 & 1/2 hrs? sounds pretty easy to me--i like games that have a lot to offer--ya know? even though the game does seem kinda scary

the 2nd one has 6 endings. A normal perosn takes 6 hours to beat it on the 1st try. then say 3-4 hours for replays. So thats still about 26 hours. Not to mention its the only game I can actually play over and over and not get sick off.

As for the 3rd one there is 3 endings and a whole lot of unlockables. Its really worth it. (btw I hate 100+ hour games and would rather play a game that can be beaten quickly.)

I heard the first one pretty buggy and not too good. And the second was pretty good. I might rent the third one on your reccomendation Greg.

I tend to beat game's quick so I should be able to get one, if not two endings in a week.

And as far the storyline goes. Is it like RE with an ongoing story told though different people at different times but the same stuff is going on? Or is it just one person going through some conspiracy and all the games are about the same guy, instead of switching characters like RE?

The 3rd one is hevaily connected to the events that took place in the very first Silent Hill. the 2nd has nothing to do with the 1st or 3rd cept it takes place in the same F-ed up town.

    Each game has different characters.

You can beat SH3 in a rental, and allthough short, its very very worth it.

I read about the first one in a Gamepro. Aren't you looking for your daughter in a town where you car broke down or something?

The only thing that's always bothered me about the Silent Hill series is all those weird ass monsters.

I think they could've done a good bit better on most of them, but some are cool.
