...and how there was a couple that had an awful smell in their room that they complained about and it got worse and worse until finally they tried to search out the smell and they found a dead body under the bed? Anyone heard of that one before? I saw it on a 'Fact or Fiction' or 'Urban Legends' or something like that about a month ago I think. They said it ended up being a fake story.

Well... it's happened.

I haven't seen the article for myself, but I've had three of my company's older customers come in and confirm they read it in the paper and it happened just last week.

I'll try to dig up the official paper article, but has anyone else heard of this?

And for the love of God, don't link me to snopes, because I pray that you'll note I do recognize it's an urban legend. mmkay? k.

Actually, that's happened to one of my friends before. Don't know where they were at, but they were in a cabin that over looked a lake. Their room smelled funny, and when they went to put their luggage under their bed, there was a dead body. I didn't hear anything else about it.

Unless, of course, the girl was lying to me...

...which I wouldn't rule that out, either.

EDIT: you know what else is creepy? well, i don't know how many of you live in NJ or have heard about wierdnj.com, but they have a bunch of creepy stuff on that site--well, one of the things they show is an insane asylum and i actually went there!!! it was freaky! there's supposedly cults & murderers that still hang out there & chase after people like me & my buds! that was wierd--sorry, just had to share that lil bit with you guys! :)
