please tell me why when i try to use the zelda.exe program it tells me this program had performed an illegal operation and to quit all programs and restart your computer.
i did that but it still says the same thing!!!!

please help me with it

I had a similar problem not too long ago...I had copied my ZC folder from my other computer, and so my ag.cfg file wasn't set up right...

What I did that fixed it was deleting ag.cfg, running zquest-w, going to the etc. menu, and choosing "lost woods". When you do that, it generates a new ag.cfg file.

If you're using 1.90, run AGsetup, rather than Zquest.

If that doesn't solve it, make sure you let us know so we can give you other possibilities.

I too have had a similar problem and the chances are you unzipped ZC/ZCbeta to some place else other than Local Disk [C].... what helped me every time was deleting all the ZC stuff and unzipping it to the C drive.... if its not that then I dont know what.....

Try deleting all of the ZC files, then reinstalling. Then run ZQUEST. It should run. Then goto File Quit. Then try ZELDA. It should work.
