    Transfer from 163 to 180+?

Can I transfer 163 quests pretty perfectly to 180+ and still get no bugs? Can there be flawless transition from 163 to 180?

There were no radical changes (such as door combo sets and the removal of combo pages) between 163 and 180. But it's probably best to wait until I knock out a few more bugs first.

Yea. Your quest won't be horribly corrupted if you upgrade (if you downgrade, it will be) but you'll be subject to a bunch of wierd crashing and freezing bugs in Zquest and Zclassic

heh, well I'm upgrading all my quests to 163 and so far, they are doing fine when playtesting them. If what DN says is true. Then upgrading the newly converted 163 quests to the new version shouldn't be that drastic of a change.

I just upgraded Sarpadia to beta 180 and the DMap intro strings still cause Link to freeze. So there's one.

(I know the pages aren't displaying properly. I don't know how to fix it. Do you?)

I once updated a quest to beta 178 from Public Beta 163 and the Intro text still freezes if there is a "guy and string" on that screen the intro pops up. I have to Alt-Tab to exit to Windows, Ctrl-Alt-Delete to close it, and rerun Zelda Classic 1.92 Private Beta 180 for Windows. How inconvient is that?

Upgrading to a new beta is like two pathways: One path will lead to the quest working... while the other one will lead to a broken bridge.

I have a question (urgent): Is the left Aquamentus from a transfer bug?
    Find me, if thou can.

Aquamentos is one of those bugs that I guess just never seemed serious enough to be fixed. Poor Aqua's been screwed up ever since he could be placed left and right.

Hmmm...well, simply put, I don't have intro strings on my previous quests, so I guess I'm exempt from that bug. :-D
